The “Grand Potager de Haltinne”

Restoring the “Grand Potager de Haltinne” farmer’s house also features a new building for the organic market garden. The farmer’s house is partly built using the foundations of an historic wall that divides the vegetable garden and the pond. A lean-to on the garden side limits traffic and access from the outside. To the south-west, large vertical windows open up to a pond. Central heating is provided by a woodchip boiler that uses green waste from the site.
